Itinerary Detail
DAY 1 ARRIVES IN DELHI Arrive late night in Delhi, depending on flight schedules. Traditional welcome and check in to your already booked room. Overnight in Delhi.
DAY 2 DELHI SIGHTSEEING [Breakfast] After breakfast take a city tour of New Delhi covering India Gate, Lotus Temple, Humayun’s Tomb and Qutub Minar. Afternoon enjoy city tour of old Delhi covering Jama Masjid, Red Fort, Gandhi Memorial. Overnight at hotel.
DAY 3 Delhi > Mandawa (220 kms/5 hrs) [Breakfast] After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Mandawa. Afternoon visit to Poddar Painting School and visit to famous Haveli of Nawalgarh.
DAY 4 Mandawa > Bikaner (200 kms/4 hrs) [Breakfast] Drive to "Camel City" called Bikaner. In Deshnoke we shall visit the famous temple of the rats and also the camel farm. Check-in at the hotel.
DAY 5 Bikaner > Jaisalmer (330 kms/7 hrs) [Breakfast] Morning for the local sightseeing, which includes Junagarh Fort. It was built in 1588 AD by Raja Rai Singhji, the sixth ruler of Bikaner, who ruled form 1571 to 1611 AD. It is one of the few major forts in Rajasthan not built on a hilltop. Afternoon drive to Jaisalmer. Arrive and check-in at the hotel. Evening is free.
DAY 6 Jaisalmer (Camel Ride) [Breakfast] After breakfast day for the local sightseeing. Jaisalmer Fort, it is one of the largest of desert forts of the world. It was built in 1156 AD by the Bhati Rajput ruler Jaisala. It is situated on Trikuta Hill and had been the scene of many battles. This is the world's only living fort and about a quarter of city's population live in the fort. Besides we shall also visit the famous Patwon ki Haveli, Salim Singh Ki Havli. Evening visit to sand dunes for the camel ride. Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 7 Jaisalmer > Jodhpur (290 kms/6 hrs) [Breakfast] Drive to Jodhpur. En-route, visit to Osian Jain Temples. Arrive Jodhpur and check-in at the hotel. Rest of the day free.
DAY 8 Jodhpur [Breakfast] After breakfast, sightseeing of Jodhpur which includes the famous Mehrangarh Fort, this majestic and impressive citadel of Mehrangarh dominates the city from the top of a hill at an altitude of 120 meters. Some enclosing walls have a thickness of more than 5 meters and a height of more than 20 meters. The second place is Jaswant Thada, it’s a white marble cenotaph, built in 1899 in memory of the maharaja Jaswant Singh. Portraits of some leaders of Jodhpur are visible inside the monument.
DAY 9 Jodhpur > Udaipur (280 kms/6 hrs) [Breakfast] Drive to Udaipur, also called “City of Lakes”. En-route, visit to Ranakpur Jain temple. The Chaumukha temple, or Four Faced Temple, is the main temple in the complex and dates back to the 15th century. Built in marble, the temple has 29 halls supported by more than 1,400 pillars, no two of which are alike. Arrive Udaipur and check-in at the hotel.
DAY 10 Udaipur [Breakfast // Boat Ride] Full day sightseeing of Udaipur City-Museum, City Palace, Sahelion Ki Bari, cruise on Lake Pichola in the evening.
DAY 11 Udaipur > Chittorgarh > Bundi (290kms/6 hrs) [Breakfast] After breakfast we leave Udaipur. En-route, visit to Chittorgarh Fort. It is a massive and majestic fort situated on a hilltop. It is one of the most historically significant forts not only in Rajasthan but whole of North India. The fort stands on top a 180m-high hill and is on about 280 hectare sites. We continue to Bundi, arrive and check-in at the hotel.
DAY 12 Bundi > Ranthambhore (125 kms/3 hrs) [Breakfast, Dinner] After breakfast, visit to famous Taragarh Fort also known as “Star Fort”, palaces, and baoris (step wells), or water reservoirs. Afternoon drive to Ranthambhore. Ranthambhore is a National Park and Tiger Reserve in Sawai Madhopur. Arrive and check-in at the hotel. Dinner and overnight at the hotel
DAY 13 Ranthambhore > Jaipur (180 kms/3 hrs) (Jungle Safari) [Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner] Early morning for the jungle safari. After lunch, drive to Jaipur. Arrive Jaipur and check-in at the hotel. Evening visit to Ethnic village for the Rajasthani food.
DAY 14 Jaipur (Elephant Ride) [Breakfast] A full day's program takes you to nearby Amber Fort, then up to the awesome fortress by elephant. You return to Jaipur and visit the museums, palaces and halls within the City Palace (still a royal residence), the Palace of the Winds, and the Jantar Mantar Observatory, constructed to measure 'the harmony of the heavens', a concept dear to Hindus as they believe their fated souls move to its rhythms. Evening is free for the local markets.
DAY 15 Jaipur > Agra (250 Kms/5hrs) [Breakfast] Your drive to Agra takes you via Emperor Akbar's deserted city of Fatehpur Sikri, an almost perfectly preserved 400 year-old Mughal capital. After admiring its palaces and pavilions we drive to Agra. Arrive and check-in at the hotel.
DAY 16 Agra > Delhi (220 kms/5 hrs) [Breakfast] Morning for the visit to Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. Taj Mahal was constructed between 1631 and 1654 by a workforce of more than twenty thousand. The Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan commissioned its construction as a mausoleum for his favorite wife, Arjumand Bano Begum, who is better known as Mumtaz Mahal. The Taj (as it is often called) is generally considered the finest example of Mughal architecture, a style that combines elements of Indian and Persian architectures. The Taj has achieved special note because of the romance of its inspiration. While the white domed marble mausoleum is the most familiar part of the monument, the Taj is actually a complex of elements. Afternoon drive to Delhi to catch the international flight.
Please note: The National Parks featured on this itinerary are usually open between 1st Oct and 30th June each year. Game drives in Ranthambore National Park are offered by jeep (up to four clients) or cantor (a larger truck style vehicle taking between 12 and 20 clients). Whilst we make every effort to confirm game drives by jeep, the numbers are limited and strictly controlled by the Rajasthan Tourism Department and we are therefore unfortunately unable to guarantee this. It is only possible to book game drives 60 days prior to departure and passport details are required at the time of booking.

These trips are priced assuming two travelers. Surcharges for solo travelers and discounts for groups, if any, will be applied. Prices assume itinerary is purchased "as is". Minor changes to hotels or hotel add-ons to the beginning or the end of the existing itinerary can be made at no extra charge. All prices do not include international airfare, unless otherwise noted.
