DevigarhNestled in the Aravali hills of Rajasthan, the 18th century Devi Garh Fort Palace, in the village of Delwara commands one the three main passes into the valley of Udaipur. WEDDING VOWS RENEWAL (Mock Wedding) Wedding in India is an elaborate affair and Devi Garh tries to create a Royal experience by organizing a Wedding within the Palace premises. The evening commences with the arrival of the bridegroom's party at the venue heralded by special musical tunes played on the shehnai (flute). The groom's party is formally welcomed inside by the bride's family and relatives. He is thenescorted to the mandap (canopy decorated with flowers where the actual wedding ceremony takes place) while the rest of the party takes seats  among
the audience. A local priest is organized to perform the traditional
wedding ceremony and the entire area is decorated with colourful ribbons
and flowers. Pamphlets describing the vows and the entire ceremony
are distributed to all the guests present for the wedding.A spectacular fire works display illuminates the night sky befitting the fairytale setting. The experience is further enriched by the folk dances and the Guests are also encouraged to dance with the Dancers, creating an overall lively atmosphere. The evening concludes with an elaborate and sumptuous buffet created especially for the occasion using only the finest food and beverage selection. Request for proposal |
