About Paradeep
Paradeep, one of the twelve major ports of India, is a major seaport of India for trade activities with a fine sea beach. Paradeep commands a panoramic view of the Bay of Bengal and offers miles of virgin beaches. The great Mahanadi River flows into the Bay of Bengal leaving behind evergreen forests, islands and creeks. Fish and fishing plays an integral role in the local lives. The marine drive facing Bay of Bengal attracts large number of tourist from far & wide.
Located on eastern coast of Orissa, Paradeep is 125 kms East of the state capital, Bhubaneswar and 94 kms East of Cuttack; it takes two and half-hour from Bhubaneswar by car and two hours from Cuttack.
