About Khajuraho
Situated in Madhya Pradesh, India, Khajuraho is famous for its temples. A thousand years ago it was a large city of the Chandelas, medieval Rajput kings who ruled over Central India. Khajuraho temples were constructed between 950 and 1050 A.D. during the reign of Chandel Empire. The temples of Khajuraho are India's immortal gift of sensual love to the world. Originally there were 85 temples, of which only 22 still exist. The temples of Khajuraho are famous for the eroticism etched on its walls in the form of sculptures.
