About Kesroli
The villlage of Kesroli is an ideal quick getaway for residents of Delhi, especially during the cooler months. The village is centered around a 14th century fort, one of the oldest heritage sites in India. The Kesroli Fort, a seven turreted structure, stands huge on a very unusual Hornstone Breccia rock with the fort ramparts soaring up to 150-200 feet high.
Surrounded by vast areas of mustard fields of Kesroli, the fort is in the middle of the village and gives a spectacular view of the agrarian surroundings. Kesroli is equidistant from tourist sites and main cities of Delhi, Agra and Jaipur and hence lies approximately in the centre of the Golden triangle which comprise of these three cities.Kesroli, along with Alwar, are convenient access points from which to explore Sariska National Park.
