How to reach
By Air: The nearest airport is Bagdogra in West Bengal, which is about 124 kms away and is well serviced by Indian Airlines from Calcutta and Delhi also connecting it with Guwahati. Some private airlines have also included Bagdogra in their routes.
By Rail: The nearest railhead is New Jalpaiguri, 124 kms away, also in West Bengal, which is very well connected on broad gauge to Delhi, Calcutta and via these places to the rest of the country.
By Road: Excellent all weather roads maintained by the Indian Army and Border Roads connect Sikkim to gateway cities of Siliguri and Darjeeling.
