About Kollam
Located 70km north of Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam is the cashew capital of India. It is also one of the oldest ports on the Malabar Coast, and a perfect gateway to backwaters of Kerala.

The eight hour boat trip between Kollam and Allappuzhais the longest and most enchanting experience on the backwaters of Kerala. The district also has some interesting historic remnants and a number of temples built in the traditional ornate architectural style.

Kollam is very rich with its costal area, cashew nut, backwaters, mountains, rivers, beautiful natural forests etc.

Lot of people comes from foreign countries to enjoy the beauty of kollam.
